GSCTC already fields 36+ FilmLEX inquiries per year (Downtown January Christmas holds, Fire Stations, Justice Building Courtrooms, ECS, Coroner’s Office, Queenslake). However, FilmLEX is funded by Fayette County’s room tax to fill Lexington hotels. When a producer evaluates our county against Shelby, Franklin, or Barren County, they require five on-the-ground operational pieces to sign a local contract and book local hotels:

Guests are chauffeured across participating lookbook properties in our 7-passenger Cadillac Escalade, with lodging, farm dinners, and tour logistics 100% privately funded by participating backlot properties—simultaneously growing total inbound film volume AND local conversion rates.

Stops "Shoot-and-Commute" hotel leakage to Fayette County by tying municipal permit fee waivers and private location rebates directly to booking verified local hotel blocks & caterers.
